The success and strong reputation of Village Pediatrics, LLC reflects the dedication and commitment of all members of the staff to the highest level of performance. We are a unique group of talented and creative individuals who are each making significant contributions while supporting one another in our shared commitment to excellence. Amanda M. Hostetler, MD
Dr. Hostetler received her undergraduate degree from University of Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas school of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas and completed her residency at Childrens Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Hostetler is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics and The American Medical Association. Dr. Hostetler is married with two children and resides in Prairie Village.

Melanie E. Kramer, CPNP
Melanie Kramer is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner; Melanie received her certification from the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses. Melanie received her training from Saint Louis University School of Nursing where she received her Master's in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her undergraduate work was completed at Saint Louis University School of Nursing where she graduated Cum Laude.
Melanie worked at Olathe Medical Center as an RN and later at Children's Mercy Hospital as a nurse and later as a nurse practitioner in the pediatric endocrinology department.
Melanie lives in Lawrence and is a big KU fan!

Kimberly E. Ogden, FNP
Kim Ogden is a certified family nurse practitioner. Kim received her certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Kim received her training from the University of Kansas where she received her Master's in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Kansas.
Kim was employed by ENT associates as a nurse practitioner.
You might recognize Kim as she was previously employed at Village Pediatrics as a staff nurse. We are happy to have Kim back as our nurse practitioner.
Kim is married with three sons.

Marion S. Pierson, MD, FAAP
Dr. Pierson received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her internship/residency at Georgetown University Children's Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Pierson is married and has two children.

Lance B. Slaymaker, DO, MHA, FAAP
Dr. Slaymaker received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and received his masters in Health Administration from Duke University. He graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri and completed his residency at Childrens Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Slaymaker is the medical director of the SIDS network in Kansas. Dr. Slaymaker is married and has four children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Janna Willhaus, CNP
Janna Willhaus is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner, receiving her certification from the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses. Janna received her training from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she graduated with honors, received her Masters in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Her undergraduate work was completed at Truman State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing. She graduated Summa cum Laude and was president of her class.
Janna spent two years on the infant and toddler unit at Children's Mercy Hospital, completed an internship at Children's Hospital in Dallas, and is currently on the local board of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP)
Janna loves playing basketball and volleyball, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She's an active member of a local church and is involved in community activities.

Caroline Danda PhD
Dr. Danda is licensed clinical psychologist now offering assessment and therapy services at Village Pediatrics 3 days a week. She has specific expertise in parenting and behavioral issues, anxiety disorders, and chronic health/pain conditions, including functional gastrointestinal disorders. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She earned her graduate degree in clinical and health psychology from the University of Florida, completed an internship in the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences at Children's Mercy Hospital, and completed post-doctoral training in Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Additional experience includes working alongside a pediatric gastroenterologist at KUMC in a multi-disciplinary "Bellyache" clinic and working as a staff psychologist at the Kansas City Center for Anxiety Treatment (KCCAT).
